@ChristiansChannel100 the Goodman unit is a POS, the Payne is a nice unit tho a re badged Carrier. i did get a vid of the Payne (when i showed the stat for the Payne) you could hear it running. but next time i go over there i will see about firing them up in COOL mode.

Great video as usual Mike! I LOL'ed when you were videoing the Goodman and you said "And then here's this piece of crap" LOL Older Goodman's like that are indeed JUNK units. Your 4 ton Goodman pack unit would kick that Goodman's ass. lol!

Why didn't you run out and catch the Payne running? Oh well. Great video! Nice house! Goodman really isn't terrible though. Except for maybe yours and the other 2008 units. LOL!

@amichalak10 it started raining outside and i did not have a ziploc bag or an umbrella. this 2 ton Goodman is rarely used because it is SO LOUD! older Goodmans like this one are LOUD. this one is so loud you can hear it ALL the way upstairs! but it blows ice cubes in the summer and blows hot in the winter! but its RARELY used in HEAT mode.

@xctome OK sorry. It's that loud? In an all brick house it's that much a of a problem? Wow, what a steaming pile of shit. BUT...at least it works good. Does the Payne heat both floors well enough since heat rises?

@amichalak10 yes it is very loud. the Payne only heats up to the top of the stairs. it does not heat both floors the upstairs when i filmed the stat upstairs it was in the 60's up there. it was 71 downstairs. the Goodman still works good for now its just loud as hell!
