Here is an update on a homemade geocache I made. The geocache is made to resemble a rock, and to test it against the weather and elements, I put it up in the Colorado Rockies in May 2006. Then in June 2008, I checked on how well they weathered after 2 full winters and spring thaws, and to my surprise (and satisfaction), they held up quite well. This is the footage I took of the update. To see more details on the making of these homemade geocaches, check out my blog...

I plan on shooting a video of how to make them in more detail.

  • nice video

  • hmm nice camo, when i go with a rock geocache, i chip in the geocache symbol marking it, the reason is your gonna get alot of comments asking where it is "dude i cant find it i stand right next to crusor on my gps and its not there" the marking seemed to help alot.
