Finals day of the 2008 OXBOW AUSTRALIAN LONGBOARD TITLES saw big swell, strong winds and some good surfing. Waves were around the 8ft mark, making messy - but big and strong conditions.

Also local surfer Darren O'Rafferty was pulling into some nice barrels down the beach.

  • The only guy i have respect i have for in this video is the one with the blue jersey (the only who is a decent noserider) Everyone else in this video makes me ashamed to be a a longboarder-_-

  • yeww townies pumping

  • Both styles of board short and long, have their own pros and cons. You really can't compare them because; Where one fails the other succeeds.

Because of that to compare different size surfboards is ridiculous. I hope you don't have that attitude towards longboard surfers out in the water.

  • shortboards r obviuosly better n u guys just dont ride mals like this coz u cant

  • progressive or not, its graceful and is a shitload cooler
