  • Thank you KW for this beautiful Durham song....never heard it before.Played it 5 times on the trot....love it. She is amazing, truly amazing

  • @forsburgers Thank you for your comment. I think the master tape to this recording was lost and so the only way you can get this song is by getting one of her old LPs. I believe it was the B-side to her 1970 single The Light Is Dark Enough, but I'm not too sure. I think some of her later LPs hosted this song too. I'm glad you liked it, she's a wonderful singer. :)

  • I forgot to mention, you did a spectacular job editing and timing the slideshow, Love your opening logo.

  • @WCFL1000 Thanks BK, I found my logo again in my pics. I'm loving your latest video uploads - thank you for them! :)

  • You are quite correct. Wanderlove was the B-side to "The Light Is Dark Enough". Both tracks were recorded on her A&M album "Gift of Song" (her first solo album).

  • Wanderlove is a pretty decent song and Judith makes a valiant attempt at it. Whoever produced her first two albums just buried her under too much orchestration and busy arrangements and her talents were underutilised. Some of her second album quite good especially the title cut, but they lack direction and she still seems to flounder. She does best in a simpler presentation, as she does on her better more recent work, especially in the nineties, or in gospel material. You have to admire her..

  • It's not a Durham song originally. It was written by Mason "Classical Gas" Williams.
