【Manga】

This manga, known in Italian as "La Madonna della Ghirlanda", has been the very first manga I've ever read, and the most beloved! From long time I've been desiring to use these drawings for a video, and now here it is! =)

The story of the manga is about a young woman, Leonora, who must escape from a forced marriage, and must also unveil the mystery that lies in a painting made by Leonardo Da Vinci: this painting, "The Flower Crown Madonna", is a portrait of her, and it's said to contain the key to obtain the Emerald Lion, a legendary sword that makes the wielder High King of Italy. Cesare Borgia (the black-haired guy), the evil one in the story, is looking for the weapon for he longs to become king, and Leonora, with her hair cut and darkened and disguised as a young boy named Leo, will fight against him, who wants also her body, and she will soon fall in love with the beautiful Falco (the blond-haired guy), prince of Naples. In the story there also many other characters: Lucrezia, Cesare's sister and lover, Oro, a woman bandit-chief that will be forced by Cesare in playing a role, Michelotto, killer at the orders of the Valentino, Sandro and Chiara, brother and sister who will help our heroes, and Leonardo da Vinci, who will put his genius at the service of both sides ...

If you can, look for this manga, it's totally worth your time especially if you like amazing graphics and stories set in an historical background!!! =^-^=

Yesterday I got Ellie Williams' very first CD, "Unseen" ... without mentioning that I'm really happy of my musical shopping, I decided to use a song from the album for my slideshow.

Se nn ricordo male a un certo punto c'era uno che andava a letto con un ragazzino :S Io l'avevo poi letto tutto per vedere come andava a finire, però quest'autrice mi era caduta un po' in basso (anche pensando ad Utena ...). Di lei alla fine ho salvato "La Madonna della Ghirlanda" e il volume della serie "Chiho Saito Presenta ..." intitolato Cesare Borgia (ok, lui va a letto con sua sorella, però le altre due storie del volumetto erano molto carine).
