2.2 alloy pinto engine

the first all alloy pinto engine. 2.2 ltr cosworth alloy block.10mm taller,96mm bore. custom cometic head gasket. alloy head with chambers made fully hemi shape, 46cc combustion chamber size, 146mm steel farndon rods, custom 96mm accralite slipper type pistons. kent gts4 cam kit, custom pulleys and cam belt, std yb crank, wet sump, 48 dco/sp carbs, ft295k ignition set up, 10mm spark plugs, built by Guy Turner of BURTON POWER. tested by Steve Greenald of Race Engine Calibration. will post power outputs when the engine has been featured in Retro Ford mag and will be going on loan to them for goldmember.

the best way is to fit a 36-1 wheel on the front pulley and run a proper crank position sensor. its much more accurate.

Block = £4k

Head = £2.8k

That's £6800 for just a bare block and head!

You definately won't be selling many of these.
