This is one of many awesome episodes from a show called 4Real, hosted by Sol Guy. This is one of my favorite episodes. Sol and Joaquin go to Yawanawa, Brazil to learn more about tribal life, about the importance of preserving the land, the rain forests, and traditional life - which is founded on a spiritual existence and a connection to Mother Earth.

  • this encourages me to make this world a better place. i myself am half-brazilian blooded but i was born and raised in germany. i find it to be truly inspiring to see how people like joaquin are trying to change something by showing interest and making efforts. It's not enough to know about current issues the world has, we should rather open up our eyes and act, spread the word and do something. we can make a difference.

  • @FoxyHeartsYou Its a wonderful feeling to be inspired to contribute to making our world better. We can all make a huge difference, everything counts!

  • I am totally speechless & from start to finish this show took my breath away & I mean it took my breath away! My heart is still swelling from the love I felt from everyone from the tribe, the elders, the show's crew, joaquin, sol, & their two hosts, laura & her husband! I actually cried while watching this. AMAZING!!!!

  • he is so sweet, definately one of the realest more culturally aware actors out there today, so brilliant on camera as well, and just a treat in every way <3

  • Amazing video. Really cool to see things like this because its rare to see people who are really keeping in touch with nature, their heritage and protecting what they believe in truly. I couldn't even begin to say how awesome these people are. And the tribes Chief was very smart, resourceful and really cares about the people. Its a shame that there isn't more of this in the world :(

  • @SawasiraSonimusa Thats the right way to think about it.! Our children / future generations inherit this earth... our actions now basically directly impact whether or not there is a future for humanity.

  • @ZbeeKozak I agree! Its never too late! Thank you for sharing.

  • I am European living in Brazil now. Amazing is how much the western culture can learn from indigenous. And how much we already destroyed!

It also shows how important is cultivate your culture and traditions. I watch everyday examples of how the origin people get lost in the slavery shame of system dominating in South America as well. They lost the identity.

Western culture for ages has achieved great technology, but lost something essential - the real connection with planet. Its never too late

  • Excelente documental! gran trabajo de Joaquin y la produccion 4Real, habria que tomar conciencia en verdad sobre lo que esta sucediendo con nuestro planeta, pensemos en que es lo que heredaremos a nuestros hijos!!!
