Yep, you can get killed walking your dog. Taking by basic course this month, can't wait to get an lx50, the Ducati can wait =)

Riding a vespa can be very safe and very rewarding. It's best to keep in mind your limitations. Where are you going to be riding? What size of engine do you want? Are you an experienced rider? Safety depends on a variety of factors. Unfortunately, you are always at the risk of injury from other vehicles. Having said that, there are many things in this world that are much more dangerous than riding a vespa. My advice to you, is to complete a motorcycle safety course
