  • I love this piece, it has everything, the video is great too and thank you for such lovely playing. I am always amazed at the incredible ability that soloist have to be so virtuosic and perform these thousands of notes by heart, bravo!

  • the first time my friend heard this was in a concert with me (he knew very little about classical music) he turned to me and said," that guy just played the SHIT out of his cello!!!!"

  • I absolutely love his phrasing. And the color he chooses to play in here and there is so so gorgeous.

  • I personally thought the introduction tempo was fine. It was the tempo of the first variation that I thought was way too fast. The first variation is whimsical yet mischievous, dancing around as the orchestra attempts to use the introductory theme to corral the soloist. The tempo he takes is a bit to brash for my liking.

Overall though, a damn good cellist.

  • David Cohen 's rococo is the most moving I have heard and Ashkenazy was quite right to invite him back for the Dvorak. Lets have more from this gorgeous young cellist.

  • Good Cellist, however Yo Yo Ma is better on same piece.

  • Very good !!!

    Congratulations !!!

  • Different... but wonderful! his fingers seem made from rubber :D
