@CalifornianGuitarist this is from 1972 and i don't know if it is available on cd. Otello is the best opera, Shakespeare's othelo is already a masterpiece, although Hamlet and King Lear are my favourites plays, Verdi wanted to write an opera of King Lear but for some reason he never did it

The originally scheduled Iago for this performannce was not Quilico but Tito Gobbi.
Perchance do you have the Otello from the previous spring with McCracken, Milnes & Zylis-Gara, conducted by Karl Bohm?
