  • First time I went in the gym with a friend, I spotted him the wrong way, keeping my hands on the bar, but after a rep he said get my hands off the damn bar lol. Quick and blunt lesson :D.

  • @LUCKYBARNEY100 Spotters can be annoying, but unless your in a power rack for squats/bench, you'd be kinda stupid to not have a spotter for your 1RM.

  • I wouldn't need a spotter if my gym had a damn power rack

  • thats why i bench by myself lol, i cant stand spotters. spotters should wait until they rep until they can't rep anymore and then grab the bar and put it on the rack.

  • Nothing annoys me more than assistance from a spotter. Especially with my 1rm! I'm 'testing' my own strength, not mine and yours combined you dumb spotter. Get out the gym! NOWWWWWW

  • THIS video should be a must to see before u try BENCHPRESS or sput benchpressers!!

  • @juanpablodt PR means personal record. Set of five means a set with 5 repetitions.

    So it means a personal record for a set of five reps.

  • What does he mean when he says "a PR set of 5?" ? (Obviously english is not my first lenguage). Nice video BTW

  • i was at the gym yesterday and saw some guy spotting his friend, but had his hands on the bar the whole time helping him lift it... i just looked at them and shook my head.
