I think if you just turn up the treble and add some more reverb you will have the tone your looking for. Awesome guitar I like it allot.

i dont think its the guitars fault, more the player in this case at least for the second guy playing... im sure if mister vai picked it up it would sound as it amazig.. i agree with the last guys post that its very shrill, possibly shitty amp settings and rushed playing. im no expert tho its nice looking axe tho very cool, cept i woulda put vines or pyramids :)

Its tone is very harsh, and shrill, at least for the Bridge pickup. Designed for steve Vai's "What!". and I REALLY don't enjoy the asian guy's playing. Seriously, we get it with the harmonics! tighten the tone, lower the volume a bit, and take your time, and learn the articulation of the song.

@v1kkz yer its cumin along great so far ive bought the body, sprayed it red installled a black pickguard and bought a neck, i actually might buy emg 81 and 85s its quite fun. u plannin on makin one?
