I have 3ds Max 2010, is there anywhere I can find the files used for the how-to videos in Max 2010 and not 2011?
Thanks!

@ints31 No, they would need to be resaved, and I just don't have the time to do it right now. If you know somebody who has Max 2011 or Max 2012, you can use the Save As function and choose a version in the drop-down menu.

@AxelKishore Hi, one must learn to walk before they run. You seem to be new to 3ds Max and perhaps to 3D in general.
You need to learn the basics before you move to specifics. Follow the Getting Started playlist to get a good feel for the software, then you can move to specific features. Keep in mind that animating characters like humans and animals needs a fairly extensive knowledge and cannot be learned overnight.
You might consider taking a class at a training center to speed up the process

@3dsMaxHowTos I know the basics and i know how to model in 3ds max. I also know to use the material editor, modifiers, and other plugins like craft director studio etc.. And i know how to render a video using render setup but i am learning to use video post. I know how to set bones to a character. I need to know how to export rigged characters n how to import 2 or more rigged characters in a scene like a fight scene. What should i do???
Thank u.

@AxelKishore Have you tried Import > Merge? Is that not working for you? that's how you typically import an object from one scene into another. It works with rigged characters as well.
BTW, I'd stay away from Video Post, it's VERY old 3ds Max technology. Most artists do their post work in dedicated apps like After Effects.
