I love VCS3s! I used to drool over just seeing that name on Pink Floyd and Tangerine Dream albums. I actually saw the very first VCS3 prototype 4 years ago at a talk by one of the guys who did the music for Dr Who (Tim something). It didn't work and was in a glass box, but I remember the controls had hand-written labels.
