@Lakota1067 On Through the Night was a great album. Even Pyromania was ok but that whole Mutt Lange sound was too contrived. Heavy Pettin on the other hand kicked ass on all their albums.

@Lakota1067 maybe Heavy Pettin didn't work as hard, or put as much effort in touring. This album is awesome, and better at that stage than Def Lep. I guess Heavy Pettin just didn't have a 'Pyromania' moment and kicked on; this was as good as they could get

This is the sort of debut album that Def Leppard should have made - instead they gave us On Through the Night an immature and inconsistent release. Heavy Pettin should have been huge.
