Ok apparently I fixed the problem! I have spent hours upon hours recreating my hotkeys that I had set for Traktor 3.

When I set up Traktor Pro I hit "reset all" for the keyboard mappings, leaving ALL of them set to NONE!

When ANY of the hotkeys is set to NONE in the keyboard mapping settings when you turn the volume dial, hit the fn key or hit caps lock it triggers ALL hotkeys set to NONE!

So I simply deleted all the keys were set to NONE!

  • were or are you using windows xp or 7 on the toshiba

  • How do you reset it back to normal?

  • Way to go. Upon seeing the description of the last video my first thought was 'why not just set the quick keys to something new or reset them?'

This video completely answered my question.

Also, NAtive Instruments actually suggests that before you start playing that you customize your quick keys and then save your set as an external file that way if ever you loose it or move to another machine you always have your quick keys.
