@CyboCyanide Dubstep came directly from garage, d&b and british electronic music in the 90s. Dub was late 60s 70s, more dance orientated and remixes reggae tracks. yeh stuff like jungle and yes dubstep can trace it's roots (the former moreso) from dub. So for someone to say simply that "dubstep originated from dub" would make them sound a bit like they were...as you put it "chatting out of their arse". xx
