Super job. I spent over 3 of my fours years in Vietnam (two military/two civilian) in Saigon. I lived on Truong Minh Ky St. and Hai Ba Trung. Nicely edited, thank you.
As a naval advisor in 1970, I worked at VN Navy HQ adjacent to the Tran Hung Dao statue at the south end of Hai Ba Trung St.. We used to rent rooms for parties at a hotel on Hai Ba Trung called the "New Martin Hotel". It was on the west side of the street. Aaah......the memories.
thanks a lot for the video about our city. I always wish to live at that time to see how Saigon beautiful and quite. I love saigon in the past so much, so sometimes I wonder the place that I'm staying , how it was in the past. Your video help me a lot to know about my country in the past. GREAT JOB!!!!
Another super job. I stayed at the Kim Do Hotel, just down from the Rex, on three separate trips over the past five years. Did not realize the USO used to be almost next door. Al
Thanks Frank. I had visited the USO but did not remember where it was located. Took my son around City Center and we stayed at the Rex, Dec. 2007. Thanks for the great videos. Bill
