I'm not a man. I just realize how corrupt my gender now that it's not kept in check by men anymore . It's really awful. Of course men should treat women with love but God reinforced male authority (He shall rule over thee) because of the fall ,knowing that women would not submit normally and will struggle for power instead .

Realize that even in the church , women just refuse to submit and all they want is usurping the male role. Because of this ,men have to react.

The feminization of our society is the CURSE God allows for us to happen because we are REBEL to his holy word. Women are given more and more authority over men in almost every field and HERE is the curse : men are being psychologically castrated and made unable to be in charge and be the HEAD .

GOD knows what manhood and womanhood are and how they function and dysfunction . We know so litte actually but we are too foolish and rebel to follow his PERFECT paths about gender roles. SHAME on us .

The question is posed wrong. It should really be, "Is it wrong for women to preach?". If a woman preaches in a church, which is clearly wrong according to the Bible, then it is equally wrong for anyone (male or female) to listen to them. To sit there and listen to them effectively shows that you condone what they are doing and this means that you condone sin. Instead, stand up, rebuke the woman for committing this sin and then walk out.

@framboise595 You have a good heart, and I sincerely hope to meet a woman like you someday. Many women these days have been swept up in the feminist delusion, but it's people like you who can truly make a difference. :)

@framboise595, how can you say that! God created woman just as he created man. Are you saying that his creation is not perfect. Both man and woman are in God's image, but God put man over the woman. There were female prophets in the Bible! I'm not trying to push feminism or anything but I as a female cannot accept what you just put forward. I believe in male authority, but women aren't more sinful than men.

Whoever wants to hear a good biblical exposition of 1 Timothy 2:12-15 where the Apostle Paul forbid a woman to teach, should see the YT video entitled " John MacArthur I do not allow a wman to teach" The point in this recommended video is not so much whether a man can learn from a woman preacher but whether God permits a woman to teach in a public christian service. Jon MacArthur gives the biblical reasons why women are not permitted to teach or lead in church.

Here's the main thing from this guys. We CAN learn from women. They are JUST AS competent and INTELLIGENT. Like John said, it's not obscene! And it shouldn't be something that makes our self-righteous heart squirm in its seat. But we need to understand that in God's perfect plan, there are roles that men and women play to build the kingdom. And there is no role that is more glorified or less dignified, which is why we need to RESPECT the roles that women are given.
