DNA origami slotted cross

This design has been rendered in DNA giving crosses that have a dimension of about 40 nm across, see our publication Douglas, Dietz, Liedl, Hogberg, Graf, Shih in Nature from May 21 2009. Shown is the DNA scaffold strand and how it is routed around in the final design. Model made in Maya using some scripts that I wrote to convert DNA designs in caDNAno format to 3D models in Autodesk Maya.
