Cloud Forest View, Doi Inthanon; Thailand

Visit my website at http://www.junglejoel.com - As you can tell, it was quite windy on the summit of that knoll! After the wind sounds in the beginning, you can hear lots of bird calls and insects.
This is a view of the cloud forest on the slopes of Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand. This is just down the road from Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon -and at a slightly lower elevation. Here, we are just below the cloud deck, and the clouds above us seem close enough almost to touch!
Contrast this with my two previous videos, taken at the chedi of Phra Mahathat Naphamethanidon. There, at that higher elevation, the landscape was completely enveloped by the clouds. Please rate and comment, thanks!
