What an odd couple, one of the most authentic musicians faced with one of the most superficial 'presenters'. Note Sutherland's use of all the industry standard cliches like 'Acts' and 'Number'. Nauseating. Thank goodness the song washes over well.

I was lucky enough to have enjoyed his concerts in the 80s and 90s and even when pissed and high to me he is a god not just an idol.

That's a shame :) But Roy is regarded as a flawed (and sometimes irritating) genius, even by many of his fans. I suggest you suspend your disbelief. Imagine he's a personal aquaintance - someone whose shortcomings you would tolerate in order to enjoy some of the passionate, beautiful songs he's written. Not every one likes it when he gets silly, or preachy, but that's a small price to pay; besides, his heart in in the right place. Best wishes, P.
