With Jerry gone, it's like having a personal family member no longer with us. Jerry was one of a kind and I pray that I see him "Live" in concert, performing once again for the Lord!!! ....and me back stage!!!!!!!!!

Love this & he put so much feeling into it.

@tblach04 I think it's probably a Baldwin. He played mostly Baldwin's acoustics, as he preferred their electric pick-ups, especially in the earlier days - he liked to move around too much to rely on a microphone to pick up his picking ;-)
Good old Jerry - love him so much

what kind of guitar is he playing in this video?
-
The line is "and rock to and fro in lullaby land."
-
Does anyone know the lyrics to the last line of the 2nd verse? "and rock to and fro in love_____?
-
Thank God for people like Jerry

This my buddy and friend Jerry Reed Hubbard. He was such a fine singer, songwriter, and performer. Every place he was playing and I had the opportunity to attend, he would always say " hey I know that long tall drink of water, right there !" I can still see him picking a " sideways Saturday night, hot lick" and look over at me and say " hey Slim, I'm good huh !" He knew I was a die hard Jerry Reed fan. Rest in peace, my brother and friend.
