I would let somebody kick me in the nuts if thats what it took to get front row tickets to see him in concert. Even at 76 he is kicking ass!

Again the discussion on who is the king of rock and roll, maybe we deserve one only one single great rocker instead of these many great ones.

This video's great! Who's the sax player? He kinda reminds me of King Curtis.

I heard that Paul Anka wrote the lyrics to True Love Ways on the radio and then on the Internet someone wrote that he wrote it himself. Who can really be sure? Musicians have always done variations on a theme. Chubby Checkers started everything with the "Twist' and then there was Fats Domino and everyone knew the color of their skin all the time. Pat Boone is a wonderful singer so skip the "race" war. All these people are legendary. All deserve credit.

All that stuff was written by black writers. Elvis acknowledged the debt he owed to black singers - so give Elvis' thoughts some respect yourself. He knew he wasn't as talented as LRichard; I think it might have driven him to the drugs; he knew he wasn't really authentic. Good singer, and a good crooner, but not a rock and roll star - really.
