I almost passed out when I first heard this at E3 2009.I love Resident Evil.I had bought Resident Evil 5 a few weeks ago and I was telling one of my friends that it would be so awesome for a Resident Evil game to come to the PSP.Its like a dream come true.

@colliric Also they move Monster Hunter franchise to Nintendo console, first MH that suppose to be for PS3 (MH:Tri) they move it to Wii console, then MH:Freedom for PSP to 3DS handheld...

For me, it look like they use Sony name to get popular.

@colliric The only thing difference between 3DS and PSP is the Pixel Shading technology.The PSP has no such thing as Pixel Shading and it has lower texture filling speed too.Where talking about 7 years difference so it's excusable.

actually they did in several interviews.... they were asked what became of it, and said they scrapped it and started from almost scratch on the 3DS... that's right, yet another scrapped RE Beta Build.... what's that now? number 6?

yep, and that Something is Capcom who's devs revealed it continued development and they switched consoles after seeing the techdemo where they got Resident Evil 5 to run on the 3DS...

Nope, Capcom's developers have revealed they continued working on it and decided it was now for 3DS. The game actually did turn into Revelations.
