For anyone who grew up between 1960-1990 in Tucson AZ, "Uncle Bob" Love was a fixture on kid's television. First, as Marshal KGUN, then Uncle Bob and lastly as himself on KDTU's "Friendship Club."
Here is the premiere episode of "Friendship Club" from 9/15/86.
This guy appeared at my birthday party when I was 7 years old. Everyone about crapped their parents because he was on TV. He was really entertaining. All the kids were in awe.

Now get this, Bob's daughter, Nancy (God forgive me if I am wrong on her name) and I dated once or twice in High School at Palo Verde. This is all from 1966-72

OMG! I am James Gillespie. My Father, Sgt. Bill Gillespie of the Air Force stationed at Daivs Monthan and he started the Junior Fire Marshalls! We were the kids in white shirts with red fire hats! I think Danny Thomas and Forest Tucker owned the station. I met Mr. Thomas 2 years before he died. He remembered our group with our white shirts 'burning the lens' on one of his cameras, something the cameras were prone to do back then.
