I cannot believe I'm saying this, but he was "on sale." I got him for $1600. It was wayyy worth it though. He was hand bred, hand fed, and hand tamed. He thinks that humans are his flock, so he was a sweetie from the get go. Considering untamed birds are sold at Petco for twice that, I'm thinking this was a pretty good deal for a very pretty bird. XD
