  • R.I.P gary carter. 1986 Mets !

  • Thanks so much for posting this! Been looking for the video online for years.

  • Yeah, I thought they were done in the 10th when Aguilera gave up the homer to Henderson.

May I say something outside the box, however? Watching this video now gives me the creeps because it's loaded with the kind of MTV music-video editing that turns everything into a flash and trash song.

I'd also like to mention that the video gives the following Mets short shrift: Sisk, Santana, Heep, Niemann and Aguilera. Notice how these guys are shown only in post-season locker room clips?

  • great memories from a english mets fan for 30 years. we had it on tv back then. RIP gary carter, you were the best...

  • Excellent - thanks for posting!! Loved the rundown play with Hernandez & Carter!!

  • @ckendall67 YEA CARTER DID LETS not 4get 1 of the best clutch hitters and the mets captain kieth hernandez r i p gary carter

  • I had predicted Carter would bust the huge CITGO sign, His 2nd bomb in Game 4 barely missed it. RIP Gary.

  • I wish we still had Shea. Fuck Citifield. Fuck Citibank.

    These days are over.

  • '86 NLCS Game 6 was more than four times as long as this video

  • The '86 Mets had some bizzare personalities, but it was Gary Carter that kinda kept everyone together & on the same page. Arguably their MVP of that season.

    R.I.P. Gary Carter 1954-2012 :-(
