  • @mickdaniels1 i used 2 belive in the globel warming properganda, spoon fed it by media and education (inthe early 90s texts books began to tell of the theory of co2 causing yadayada, ) but i then opened my eyes a little more discovering , differant opinions and scientistic objectivaty, and realised for my self that that "established" concencess didnt ad up!

  • hIs change of opinion came about when he learned the truth about what was happening , exactly the same thing happened to me, it is only when I started to research global warming that I discoverd the truth

  • The reason bellamy was banned from television once this was aired was that he said 'benign'. (I'm being flippant, but it seems that benevolence, bennign energy and the Global Warming Hoax are incompatible).

  • Its just a pity that NIMBY's still don't like the look of windfarms blocking their vistas, as Bellamy said wind will always be here. and its pollution free.

Also Bellamy is free to change his mind, after all wasn't an Ice Age supposed to be coming in the 80's?? and everyone seemed to agree about it, apart from a few on the fringes.

  • Perhaps his change of opinion is sincere.

  • He wrote a book in the early 90s about how we were causing climate change which I'm pretty sure even has a wind turbine on the cover!

His conversion to anti-environmentalism looks to me like a sad attempt to get publicity- his TV career crashed long ago. Moaning about wind farms and attacking climate change is the only way he can get on telly now. You'd have thought he'd have more dignity than to sell himself this way for airtime...

  • So what went wrong with David??? he now claims that climate change is 'poppycock' (his words), and denounces wind power - have the oil companies paid him off??
