  • Blowback effect? it doesn't exactly take much to "quell the awesome recoil of the .223" Seriously, if your stance is forward aggressive, recoil is not an issue in these rifles.

  • It depends on the type of shooting you are doing. In general, competitive shooting is done from the side, but for defensive or tactical shooting, there are advantages to squarely facing the target.

  • @redparrot99 Military teaches head on so that if you are hit by return fire it will be in the chest where your armor is thickest.
