Was there from 90-93. Pretty sure the Old Crow followed me to Tucson.

@drod103164 I think Col Campbell had way more hours, just not in the the B-52. I can't remember exactly, but I thougth he was maybe an F-4 pilot in Vietnam, but can't remember for sure, it's been a long time since I was stationed there at Wurstmith. Barry Sebring (Co pilot) was a good friend of mine. :-)

only 2000 hours. that seems low for a bomber pilot.

That's cool. I was born on Wartsmith AFB back in the early 1980's when my Dad was a Radar-Nav on B-52's with the 379th.

Ahhh, I miss the Old Crow. I was a Bomb-Nav at Wurtsmith from 88-92. I can still smell the JP-4. Thanks for the memories!

Was Up at WAFB to revisit summer of 2010. A lot of good memories were had 86-90.

my dad was a crew chief on b-52s at wurtsmith
Crew chiefs were vital to Wurtsmith's success in protecting our freedom. They were just as proud as the officers who flew the buffs.. and I was glad to be able to interview just a few of them.
