I think the thing to bare in mind is, that you are merely arresting the rate of descent when you put a jet down. There is no fully held off landing (or if there is, its followed by a loud noise). So its really a battle of all the forces of nature to get the aircraft down in a tidy manner. Every captain on every airline has one of these once in a while.

If you call that a bounce then you should come film me landing the Dash 8-Q400. I'll show you a real bounce. Sometimes I log three landing even though I only flew one sector :)

That did not look like much of a bounce. :/
However, it does look like it lifts the left wing a little (not so much as to be a concern, but I bet a less experienced pilot would have felt his arse pucker). lol

It is hard to land the Boeing 737 without bouncing, as it only has a single bogie for each rear wheel (when compared to the 777, which has 3)
