Good video!..i paid about $3000 for my set-up about 5 yrs ago just bcuz I came out at 11am and decided I wanted to be recording by that evening..lol..I had no cpu or anything. Had I looked around for a package deal I couldve got started for less than half that price. This guy is telling the truth and with everyday that passes this stuff gets cheaper and cheaper...interfaces are less than $100 now..with 1 or 2 preamps that is...just take your time guys..SHOP AROUND and GET A PACKAGE DEAL...

@NACmusicproductions u should look on craigslist..i saw a guy selling his 07' imac, mbox2 interface and pro tools 8 for $600. You would need monitors, a mic, and headphones but thats just an example of some of the deals you can find. Interfaces are cheap these days and if you're cpu savvy you can get alot of the software for free...lol..if you have a cpu already you can get started for less than $500 and thats with decent equipment..shop around and take your time..I wish I took more time..
