I have been driving big trucks for nearly 25 years. My advice to anyone behind the wheel, especially to the rookies (which can apply to all vehicles of all shapes and sizes) is not to be afraid of it however treat it with respect. For when the day comes when you feel you can make it do what ever you want it to is when it will be your demise because it will either kill you or kill someone else. I have seen it happen so many times.

Nex time you get mad at a truck in your way just remember anything and everything you use in your day to day lives was shiped on a truck.we owe these truckers a huge dept of gratitude for the time spent away from family, and familys broken up as a result. I drove truck for a short time and the hours on the road is mind numbing.So thanks to all the truckers out there you have my respect.

As truker my self people dont even know how dangerous this job is we are responsible for freight ,more than 200,000 on equipment plus all the lives that sorround us everyday on the road believe it or not we make more decision than any other job about 10000,wich each need to be accurate or will cost some live including ours.

I look at it like this, and I'm a trucker too. Fireman might get burnt, police might get shot, and a driver might crash! It comes with the job.. Love it or hate it.

Drivin truck is without a doubt the best damn job I've been truckin for 3 years and love it I have seen lots of crazy shit people do when they want around a semi I have also witnessed people not makin it very sad the trucks I drive have a gross weight of 129,000 pounds now that's doubles with 11 axels we won't swerve cause it won't do any good were goin though you or over you and I'm proud to say that I have never had to avoid a fellow trucker so thanx to those who drive safe everyday
