Every year Dr. Dad gathers his family together on Christmas Eve at his Vashon Island home where they share a meal and exchange gifts. Featured at dinner this year was Kirsten's chili, Gretchen's cornbread and ceaser salad, with Emrys' macarroni and cheese followed by his homemade pecan pie alongside the other delicious desserts. The gifts were highlighted by Nick's first experience with an Archie McPhee's (http://archiemcpheeseattle.com/) novelty surprise package.
