Professor Irwin Corey, 94 yr. old comic legend. Since the 1940's he's donned his "Professor" role and clothes, creating a double-talk style, worthy of many a politician or pretentious orator. He's very much alive and absurdly pontificating to this day. Videotaped by Jane Gussin and Aristedes DuVal for VividScreenDesigns.com.

  • Good story abuiltmale. Irwin is always open to being part of a joke. Still a youthful spirit! 95 yrs. young. Will be posting more videos with Irwin at the Green Expo- his witty takes on "green".

  • I ran into Professor Corey on the street last week by chance, he is still so politically active and funny! He told me a quick joke, " I went to the hospital to get my blood type checked, they said it was discontinued."

  • Tell Aristedes Duval to put Mr. Sexy videos on youtube!

  • Aristedes is working on it. Trying to find the best way - quality/expense to digitize all those tapes! Thanks will pass on to him.

  • Ran into him this morning. Still spry and fun. Wanted to sell me a newspaper. Not sure if it was today's or yesterdays. What a sweet guy.

  • Confusing report out of New York that the Prof is panhandling while stating he lives in a 3 million buck apartment and says he donates what he gets to charity. New Yorkers, please look out for and protect this national treasure!

  • He makes a lot of sense to me.

  • In 1982, Robert Heinlein wrote Friday. His reference to the World's Greatest Authority, led me to search Google for Irwin Corey. It comes as Heinlein predicts the scope of today.'s internet, almost 30 years ago. Remember, that's the days of the Commodore VIC-20, and he's predicting Google.

He wrote some good books, you should read one.

Anyways, that's why I searched for him. I gotta admit, I liked him.

  • I used to watch Prof. Corey on the talk shows late at night. I love the way he talks and never says anything.

  • He should run for President. I'm ready for a change.

  • Back the 70s I was running the Stage at The Infamous Newport 7 Seas Lounge in the Newport Hotel. One of the doorman didn't show up to take the people to their seats. Irwin was staying in the hotel. I got Irwin to work in the club seating people wearing his infamous over sized tux. He loved it, even telling one lady to move her ass. Some of the people knew who he was, others didn't. I think Irwin had a son killed in the Vietnam was as he went crazy when anyone mentioned that war.

  • To quote Professor Corey, "It's all in the behind of the beholder".

  • As professor Corey as stated so eloquently, "It's all in the behind of the beholder".
