Protestor shot by police

Hey, if the cops tell you leave, especially when they're wearing riot gear and firing rubber bullets, it might be a good idea to comply and postpone your protest. This lady was dumb and deserved it.

do you have any idea how big that demonstration was? it was the biggest during the globalization summits.

there were over 5000 armed guards; including Regional Police, CSIS agents, Surete (Provincial Police), RCMP and Canadian Forces Soldiers.

there were over 20,000 demonstrators, and they estimated over 100,000 people in total came to march upon the 10-foot-high 4-kilometer concrete/barbwire fence they built around the conference.

now try to imagine how many people got injured there.

are you honestly being serious? did you not just read what i wrote and allow it to register? there were thousands of injuries over those 4 days. the pigs fired over 5000 tear gas canisters during the protest. many of those canisters hit people... sometimes in the head. who knows how many undocumented injuries happened there???
