O'Toole should've already won the Oscar for 1) Lawrence of Arabia, 2) The Ruling Class, and 3) The Lion in Winter. He's brilliant, and effortlessly carries any film he's in. That the "Academy" has not had the class to properly acknowledge him yet, invalidates it even more than it already has invalidated itself.

It's so unfair he hasn't won an Oscar yet! But I think he has won in peoples' hearts and that's the most important! Talented and restless.....

It seems like a complex movie.

"What do you do to her at your age?"
I can't believe he seriously asked him that.
I haven't seen the movie, but that guy seemes to know Peter O'Toole's character
so he has to know he's some leacherous old man.

I've got to see this movie!

@shaitarn yeah, that he is sexy, and if you ever saw him in one of his movies in his hey day, he is very handsome and still is.

@lolablack1072 I agree with you 100%. Peter O'Toole seems to have this sex appeal that transcends age.

A brilliant film, one of his best and sadly, he did not win an Oscar. Honestly, I think the Academy Awards are worthless nowadays, I mean - those who win are not actually "the best", but mostly those who give the finest parties and gifts to the jury. The show itself is boring and even the singers can't sing.. the acts are dull as well. Peter O'Toole does not need a prize like this, he has our love and affection. And, I am sure his fans agree with me here - he is the winner, always!

i always thought that peter o'toole had a sex appeal and a sexiness about him. he was also the best person to play the older version of casanova because of that same sex appeal he has. it sounds strange because he is such an old man, but if i had to have an affair with an old man, it might be him.

There is a soundtrack album for this film. Any music shop can get it for you or iTunes.
Thanks, Mr. Pogle... Both for watching AND commenting. I couldn't agree with you more. I don't know the details but I've heard he was offered an honorary a few years ago which he declined, citing more films to come. And, now, we have 'Venus'.
