Exhaust tip on a 98 ford zx2

this is a 98 ford escort zx2 with an ebay short ram intake in it and a 3aracing exhaust tip this was on a semi-warm day, mabey 80 the car had only been running for mabey 5 mins before hand...

does a resonated exhaust tip make the sound quieter or more deep and filled in? i have gotten two different answers and i need somebody who is positive about their answer to tell me.

im not positive about it but, i'd say the one i have make it a lil deeper. its really not much difference just buy a rear axle exhaust.. its alot better

does it matter whether you get a tip or the whole muffler? seriously, I don't think it does...The tip is good enough.

no mufflers are ALOT better! they increase performance by cutting out the restriction from the sound dampers and stuff in the stock muffler.

Thats a resonated tip, it would do as it implys, it will quieten your exhaust.

You want something louder, try a metal tip.
