Carnegie Mellon University is one of the academic institutions that offer nation's best graduate programs in computer science. Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute has its own subdomain at sei.cmu.edu. This institute's website has been under attack by forum spammers these days.
The web forum administrator is aware that their forums have been abused by comment spammers. But they have become a victim of pharmacy spam again. Why is this Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute website repeatedly exploited? The answer is pretty simple. They just delete files when an exploitation is found. Then do what? The victims of comment spam should simply go after the one that hires a hit man. Well, I guess, smart people can't figure that out.
