There are many ways of creating the Curtain in 3d studio max. One of them like this way. You can edit again & added a FFD 3x3x3 or 4x4x4 modifier list on the Plane 2.

  • dnt u think all this can also be done just as easily with nurbs, fr both curtains(1st way nd 2nd).by using uv loft. am just suggesting it as an alternative. but it does give more flexibility while shaping the curtains.

  • lol, I remember somebody asked about making a curtain and I showed almost the same method only with Waves and FFD, and he was like... this sucks... not pro... go with cloth... but here we showed how it really should look! :)
