@vesselflute First, obviously, lots of people DO work as technicians on machines. If that's their point, then it's not a new proposal. Second, that job doesn't interest me more. Third, someone has got to mine the materials that go in to making all those machines. Why not find a job that interests me more? Nothing is stopping me. People can already persue whatever they want, at least in developed nations. I still fail to understand how this whole project is relevant.

I don't understand. On the one hand they say that we should get rid of soul crushing manual labor jobs and replace jobs with machines. But later they say everyone needs to work in order to live. So why get rid of jobs then?
