New Tropics opening for David Lee Roth @ Ribfest '05
I was just digging back through some files for my friend Dave over at Surfboard Records and found this version of the tune so I though I'd toss it up here on the Tube. I had lost my voice that night because I was up at 6 AM to do a show on FOX 13 with the Mayor so it's not the greatest of performances, but there were 15.000 people there primarily for DLR but this was a pinacal for me as I really am living my dream and it's caught on tape!! This version of the band includes virtuoso guitarist Doyle Lindsey, Cary Palmer on drums and Tony Arnone on keys. It was a fun era in the life of The New Tropics.
