That large dark brush must be Winsor & Newton series 7 #10? you inspired many people like my self. My first painting with wc was ok there I decided to go for it but after seeing your work made me stay and practice hard. You are Master my friend in real meaning! Enjoy your gift not everyone receives such gift in life :) Your website is down?

I'm just wondering if you're the one who drew the outline too? I like the style. Very interesting!
Thanks!

awesome work!!!
if you could spare a little of your time, could you tell us if pans are for working in the field and tubes for the studio... or it is just a little harder to work with pans?. also wich brushes are a good choice?.
thank you for your time and keep posting videos!!! they are amazing.

I use only tubes now. Pans are sometimes too much trouble -- too small, more expensive though very high quality. But you can't pick up a lot paint each time. More for patient slow painters outdoor. They are more suitable for smaller paintings.
I have Rembrandt pans. They are very good but I hardly use them. I use only when I am lazy to bring too many things when I travel.

amazing the way you painted those wheels - you seem to have excellent brush control: what's your secret? :-)

There is no secret. When I was 13 years old, my calligraphy teacher asked every student to hang our writing hand in the air and write. I was a LAZY. I only practise 1 year and ran away from that class.
15 years later, all of sudden I understood what he was trying to tell us.
If you practise Chinese Calligraphy for years, you'll know there is no secret. Just do it everyday. Nothing CONCEPTUAL!!!
Have fun!!!
