Yobsemag: the idea is to do the moves slowly that you are able to be connected to nature and that you can handle your body perfectly.

...does anyone else get this really, really peaceful feeling watching him?
This is great.

Thanks for sharing with us. I learned this form years ago but had forgotten some of it.
It is slightly different but basically the same.

@KrazyFuckinCrackers1 if I am correct, this form of sword technique is practiced slowly so that you can master each and every movement of the body gracefully and correctly until the movements are second nature. Once you are a master or you are in an actual duel, then of course the technique is sped up and the slow movements you see here become swift strikes. Ive seen a guy do this live in a demonstration. He started slow then sped up into fast movements.

I wish Master Jesse Tsao could visit and teach classes here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil... He is absolutly perfect.
Thanks a lot for this excellent video.
I`ll wacht it at least a hundred times just trying to do the best, and feel like I did...
He is a legend.

Yes! Tai chi provides the balance of energy flow, the calm, intention, concentration, control, coordination, inner power. It is a good cross training for other martial arts!
