Infernotherm Stack Economizer in action

Today, the dynamic duo, Jay Robinson, my partner, and Bobby Gianetti from Infern-O-Therm are at a customer's location where we recently installed a stack economizer. Now if you guys have watched any of these recent episodes you've seen these stack economizers in action saving our customers thousands of dollars an ROI, unheard of six to seven months, incredible. Well listen check out the previous episodes I'll put them at the bottom of the screen so you can do that. But in the mean time let me tell you about this unique situation. Customer was running out of hot water, he couldn't put a bigger tank in, he was strapped. He had a customer that had some demands; he was running out of hot water. Well we slapped one of these bad boys up on one of our competitor's models and it got him through like a song. So check it out!
Here we are in beautiful Pennsylvania as you can see on a lovely winter day. We had a customer here that needed more hot water for their concrete production. The tank that they had could not fulfill the needs that they needed for this large job they had. What we did was Infern-O-Therm retrofitted on someone else's tank, they retrofitted a stack economizer to preheat the water before it goes in giving them more capacity on this unit.
This unit is a 15,000 gallon tank. It has a little bit over 2 million BTU burner the best we can calculate recovering at 36 GPM at a 100 degree Delta-T rise in temperature. The stack economizer is boosting the incoming water temperature by approximately 30 degrees, significantly improving the efficiency. A little bit of customization on this as you can see the stack is right next to the eve of the enclosure so Infern-O-Therm provided a 10-inch offset to get the stack economizer away from the building.
