when i went there there was a bunch of elementary school kids on a field trip and they were loud as hell, every adult around them had to keep yelling SHUT UP!!! not really but they were telling them to be quiet

I saw this same show 20 years ago, but back then they put a person in the cage and showed the "skin effect" (same phenomenon as a Faraday cage) and let the generators zap the cage with the human in it. It was really cool.

I was at the museum for the first time on Saturday and it was a really lovely presentation.
Does anyone know what the name of this set up or at least, the two large spheres is? I would like to read up on them.
