its hard to hear but you can see it for yourself. this video is mild and now its pretty bad.

its not the MAF. it was just replaced last week. dies while driving in reverse when a little bit cold. shakes like its about to explode. settles when warm but does it again after a few seconds or minutes. drivable but shakes again when idle.

UPDATE***** i got it fixed. it was the throttle body & other minor things but that was the main thing. thanks for watching

  • that is throttle body & gasket problem

  • got it checked at a shop that specializes w/ vws and you were CORRECT!!! woohoo!!! in runs great now =)

  • @icevwgolf How much did it cost you? I replaced my battery in my v6 Passat (beauty of a car :P) which causes this problem to occur. Did you just get a reset?

  • That happen to me with my 01 vw jetta and it was the speed sensor now the problem it's fix

  • What the hell man , i'm watching at your water temp indicator , what are those insane values? You have 190 and 260° c? I'm not drunk , my eyes are working fine but i'm still "reading" these numbers! Mine has 90 and 120 (1.6 SR '99 MK4 Golf)
