Jean Michel Jarre composed this for the 1992 Jacques-Yves Cousteau documentary "Palawan: The Last Refuge".

... Cousteau described Palawan, in the Philippines, as the most beautiful place he ever explored.

... Also included here is the reprise.

... To be more precise re the titles, they are "Palawan: The Last Refuge 1" (aka just "Palawan") and "Palawan: The Last Refuge - Reprise 2", since there are two versions of each.

... RIP. Jacques-Yves Cousteau (11th June 1910 - 25th June 1997)

  • The Fat Filipino Cardinals demands that each Filipino woman produce a child every nine months. No form of birth control pills are allowed. You do the math, Palawan, an island of just more than 1,000 square miles will be obliterated from the face of this earth in our lifetime unless we tell the religious fundamentalist that there is enough people in this planet! Protect the animals and pristine forests!

  • Beautiful country. It's like paradise. Nice video.
