A how-to vid for my Tunnel Lizard MOC.

The Tunnel Lizard is a small, subterranean species of Rahi.

Behaviour:
Tunnel Lizards prefer to spend their days in their subterranean tunnels and burrows searching for food. They usually live in large colonies that can number anywhere from less than a dozen to several hundred.

While normally docile, Tunnel Lizards become very aggressive when angered or threatend. If one is cornered it will release a high-pitched cry that both distracts the predator and alerts the other members of the colony, who then begian to attack the intruder, no matter its size.

Diet:
Tunnel Lizards normally prey on other small, subterranean Rahi. Archives Moles, Stone Rats, as well as other small creature are among the Tunnel Lizard's favorite meals.

Abilities & Tools:
As their name suggests, Tunnel Lizards are very skilled burrowers. The possess keen night vision, and have very good senses of hearing and smell.

Tunnel Lizard possess large claws, needle-sharp teeth, and a spiked tail.

Range:
Tunnel Lizards are very common, and are found in many locations.

Metru Nui - Tunnel Lizards here are usually found in Onu-Metru and Po-Metru, though they could be found throughout the Archives that span the city.

Mata Nui - Mata Nui's Tunnel Lizards were normally found in Onu-Wahi and Po-Wahi.

Odina - Odina's Tunnel Lizards are unusually visious due to lack of food. Because of this, they behave in a pairanah-like fashion, consuming virtually anything they can find.

Voya Nui - Tunnel Lizards here usually lived in the underground recesses of the island. Because of this, they likely survived the island's return to the Southern Continent.

Sub-Species:
Roughly 3,000 years after the Tunnnel Lizard was created by the BoM, these highly adaptable reptiles branched out, forming five sub-species, each adapted to a certian enviornment.

Fire Lizard:
Fire Lizards (called Forge or Foundry Lizards by Ta-Matoran in Metru Nui) are adapted to withstand intence heat and flame, and so usually live in volcanic reigons. In Metru Nui, they usually live in or near the Ta-Metru foundries, hunting smaller creatures uch as Kofu Jaga and Hoto Bugs. When threatend, they can release intense flames from their claws and tail.

Tree Serpent:
Tree Serpents (called Cable or Chute Serpents by Metru Nui's Le-Matoran) have long since abondoned the use of their hind legs. Because of this, the lower half of their body has become snake-like. The Tree Serpent's forelimbs have grown stronger, as well as develop large, sythe-like claws that aid in climbing, hunting, and defence. These reptiles have also developed a powerful venom that is injected by their sharp teeth. The are the most aggresive of the six species of Tunnel Lizard.

Water Lizard:
Water Lizards have developed a marine existance, prefering to spend most of their time in water. They are amphibious and possess large webbed claws. They usually prey on fish, such as Ruki.

Frost Lizad:
Frost Lizards are adapted to live in very cold regions. They are resitant to intence cold. They are also the most solitary of the Tunnel Lizard sub-species, prefering to live by themselves.

Rock Lizard:
Rock Lizards (called Scupture Lizards by Po-Metru inhabitants) are adapted to rocky or desert-like condisions. They are also most like their Tunnel Lizard cousins. Unlike the other four sub-species, Rock Lizards have kept the ability to dig underground. However, they spend much more time on the surface than their subterranian relatives. They possess great strength for a creature their size. Also, in the same way Kinloka have learned how to ue Kanoka Launchers, Rock Lizards have learned how to use Zamor Launchers. They also have large, pinser-like claws.

    BIO:

Venom lizards ate usually found on voya nui. they have an unusual diet and sometimes cannibalize. they have a long tail that has grown throughout generation and contain and acid-like venom. Although the venom is very deadly, all tunnel lizards are immune to it, which is great for hunting for food. the have pincer like hands and long tail with a sharp, venomise point at the end. the have the same senses as other tunnel lizards and have teeth like others too.
